Golden Chariot

The Golden Chariot is one of the luxury tourist trains which offer a close view of natural beauty via diverse cultures, mind-blowing landscapes, and exotic wildlife of Karnataka and Goa. Golden Chariot has 19 purple and golden coloured coaches. The front side of the engine of train has a logo which shows a mythological animal with the head of an elephant and a body of a lion. This deluxe train offer passengers comfort like well furnished accommodations, spa treatments, dining etc. Operated by the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation, this train also offer hospitality services which is handled by The Maple Group.

Golden Chariot is among the top seven luxurious trains in the world. The tour package offers a 7-day/8-night stay in many beautiful cities like Bangalore, Kabini, Mysore, Hassan, Hospet, Badami and Goa. The passengers can experience full-fledge entertainment via attractions like Mysore Palace, Nagarhole Tiger reserve(tue), Srirangapatnam fort(Wed),Halebid & Belur Temples;(thurs)World heritage temples of Hampi,(fri) Pattadakal & Badami caves(Sat) ;beaches of Goa(Sunday).

Tour Program
Day 01 : MON : Bangalore Depart :
Tiger in Nagarhole Wildlife Reserve

Option to report by 1230 noon at The Leela Palace, Bangalore OR Nature Village Evening drive to Train Station & board the luxury train.

Day 02 : TUE : Kabani Forest Lodge
Drive down from Mysore to Kabini River lodge for overnight stay & excursion by jeep/boat to Nagarhole Tiger Reserve.

Day 03 : WED : Mysore - Palace Town
The late 19th century built Mysore Palace & ruins of Srirangapatnam fort ,offer glimpses of bygone royal era.

Day 04 : THURS : Ancient stone Temples
The Hindu temples of Halebid & Belur are prime examples of skilled stone craftsmanship that existed in 16th century. You can also walk up steep steps to view giant monolith of Shravanabelagola.

Day 05 : FRI : HAMPI & Golden Chariot
The UNESCO World Heritage site of Golden Chariot temple complex & Vijayanagra palace ruins , leaves you awestruck.

Day 06 : SAT : Badami Caves and Pattadakal
Monument at Hampi Golden Chariot

The UNESCO World Heritage site of Pattadakal Temple complex & Badami cave frescoes are another delight.

Day 07 : SUN : Goa
The sun soaked beaches & UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Goa ,is the ideal finale to the week long journey.

Day 08 : MON : Bangalore Return'
Train arrives back by 1030 hrs.Check-out after breakfast.

This luxury train offers option of twin/double/triple bedded luxuriously furnished deluxe sleeping chambers with private washrooms having toiletries of international standard..There is a Bar Saloon & Two Dining cars with onboard kitchen.The tourists can also avail services of Aryuvedic Spa saloon,Mini Gym & business centre with wi-fi facility.There are special discounted INR Rupees rates for Indian Nationals.

The 7 Nights/8 Days Golden Chariot Train Tour departs from Bangalore every Monday evening (optional check-in at 12 noon) & returns to Bangalore ,by 1100 hrs on next Monday. You also have option to book minimum 4 nights part journey also viz. Mysore to Goa.

Booking Procedure :
For Bookings requests on The Golden Chariot Train Tour.
(1) Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of MINIMUM 20% Advance Deposit with Names of Passengers.
(2) Balance payment with Passport Details must reach us 45 days before Tour Departure Date.
(3) If booking request made less than 45 days before tour departure date,we will require full 100% payment to confirm the booking.

Payment Options :
You can make payment Either by Credit Card Authorization(Visa/Mastercard) ; OR Bank Wire Transfer.

Cancellation Rules :
(a) Cancellation Request for Golden Chariot Train Tour must be sent in writing.
(b) If cancellation request received anytime before 61 days of Tour Date,MINIMUM 5% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
(c) If cancellation request received between 60 to 31 days before Tour Date,MINIMUM 20% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
(d) If cancellation request received between 16 to 30 days before Tour Date,MINIMUM 50% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.
(e) If cancellation request received less than 16 days before Tour Date,Full 100% of Total Tour Cost will charged as cancellation Fee.

IMPORTANT :
(i) Golden Chariot Train will only operate ,subject to having minimum passengers.
(ii) Facility to book part journey may be possible,subject to occupancy on the Golden Chariot.
(iii) Disputes,if any,are only subject to jurisdiction of Jaipur (India).
(iv) At present,there is no concept of Tour Insurance in India.
